A diagnosis of cancer is devastating to a patient, both physically and psychologically. It also upsets the patient’s relatives and friends and can create social problems. Sometimes, treatment can be intensive and monitoring highly restrictive.

All these factors make life difficult for patients and their relatives and friends at times. With this in mind, the assistance of a psychologist is offered.

The psychologist can be involved at any stage of the disease, either within the various care units or at consultations.
