Other services

• A talk group for patients’ relatives. If a relative falls ill, real changes have to be made in daily life: demands of treatment, reduced availability, family tensions, rushing around etc. All these can be reasons for feeling ill at ease. Professionally supported volunteers provide a monthly talk group session, offering support and accompaniment to relatives. These meetings do not offer instant or complete solutions, neither do they provide judgements or air pre-conceived ideas. Rather, those who go to them can go back over what has happened, recover confidence in themselves and others, and use their personal resources while getting support from those going through the same thing. See our agenda to find out the dates of future meetings.
• The Carrefour Santé (Health Crossroads) provides you with a wealth of information on your health, including an Anti-Cancer Foundation kiosk offering numerous free brochures.

During their stay, hospitalized patients may use some services from their room and other services within the hospital.

The École Escale (Stopover School)

  • The École Escale (Stopover School) located on the Saint-Luc site allows children in hospital for long periods to continue their education.
