A specific feature of teaching hospitals in direct contact with a faculty of medicine, basic research is carried out in the laboratory. In this way, numerous laboratories devote themselves exclusively to researching new cancer remedies. Our site is home to the ICP, the Christian de Duve Institute of Cellular Pathology, which also houses the Brussels branch of the internationally famous Ludwig Institute of Anti-Cancer Research.
